Founded in 1949, The Cornish Review spanned three years and ten issues, eventually being revived for 26 more issues in 1966. Edited by Denys Val Baker The Cornish Review was one of the earliest publications to promote the arts in Cornwall, and it featured poems, short stories, articles, and art from the region. It became a highly regarded literary and arts magazine, serving as a prominent cultural platform for the mid-20th-century Cornish art movement, featuring many famous artists from the period, some providing illustrations and works for its front cover. These have inspired a collection of individually printed garments, celebrating the art of Cornwall.
